Rachel Jennings MA LRSM

Rachel has been playing the violin since the age of six, studying with Barbara Barker, Susan Sheppard and Jean Harvey at the Royal Academy of Music. She was awarded a Music and Art scholarship by Bancroft’s School in 1993, and completed a violin performance diploma in 1999. She has been teaching the violin since 2002, and qualified Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in 2004. Rachel also holds a Grade 8 qualification in Music Theory, and has enjoyed learning a broad range of other instruments including piano, drums, recorder and trumpet. A committee member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians www.ism.org, Rachel has been admitted to their Register of Professional Private Music Teachers. She has a clear police check for working with children, and experience in teaching children with special educational needs. |
